Klattermusen Trail Running Collection
A glance at the Swedish Brand's newest dive into Trail
Klattermusen is a Swedish brand founded in 1975, rooted in Mountaineering and durable equipment. While Klattermusen has always remained true to their core, they continue to grow and expand into different areas of mountain output. Over the past few years, Klatter has been slowly building their arsenal and is quickly emerging as one of my favorite brands out. With great options for both on and off the trail, and everything in between, it’s a brand that doesn’t force themselves into the conversation, but quietly introduces themselves with innovative and highly-performing products. Their latest Spring/Summer 2026 trail collection dives head-first into the Scandinavian forests.
Groa SS Tee
The Groa SS Tee from Klatter has quickly become a wardrobe staple for me, on and off the trail. It’s made with a soft Tencel, a blend of Lyocell and Recycled Poly - and it’s extremely lightweight and breathable. I’ve found that the Groa Tee offers unbeatable freedom of movement, much different from traditional poly blends that stick and grab. It naturally wicks moisture, and tends to hold onto some, which is a plus in the hotter months as the air from movement acts as cooling. Although the shirt might feel slightly heavier than a full poly blend, it sits lighter and is more breathable - not to mention how soft and comfortable it is. It feels like wearing a soft cotton tee with much better performance properties.
One of my favorite aspects of the Groa tee is the versatility. I own two different colors and frequently wear them off the trail as a casual piece. The Groa fits more like a casual cotton tee than a performance-first piece, which I think ads to the versatility. When it’s time for fast-paced movement, the Groa transitions seamlessly into a functional first layer.
Diser Shorts
The Diser Shorts are a brand new model from Klattermusen, developed for high output movement through the mountains and trails. Similar to the Groa Tee, I’ve been very impressed with the freedom of movement these shorts allow. They’re designed with a loose fit and airy, flowy construction which makes you feel like you are barely wearing anything - and I mean that in a good way. Where lots of running shorts want to hug your legs and minimize flow/shape, the Diser provides ample space to move within them.
I’ve used the shorts for a variety of activities; faster-paced runs, slower hikes, and even just out and about for a post-run coffee. The slit pockets on the side allow for some versatility post-run that I appreciate. It’s a minimalist short in many ways, despite the longer inseam and bigger fit. While most brands opt for sleek and sharp, the Diser Short feels like a nice juxtaposition that goes for comfort and wearability.
Eitre Zip Hood Jacket
The Eitre Zip Hood Jacket is a lightweight, wind-resistant midlayer for those colder Spring days. This is genuinely one of the softest jacket layers I’ve ever used for running - made with a 100% recycled poly. The fit of this jacket makes it really versatile. It’s roomy enough for a big baselayer, but slim enough that you can throw something else on over it without having too much fabric in the way. The stretch makes it an easy layer for running, with quick-drying properties that wick away sweat underneath.
For Spring, your jacket has to be easily packable as temps vary from your early start to late finish. The Eitre packs up into it’s in a small pattern, or rolls ups nicely to fit into the elastic waistband of the Diser Shorts. Similar to the other pieces in the trail collection, it’s worth noting how lightweight the Eitre is. You hardly notice the layer and it’s comfort is unmatched.
Kudos to Klatter, and plenty more to come on the horizon. If you’re looking for trail wear that combines ultimate comfort and performance, look no further.
